Josh Reilly, manager of occupational safety and health at IUB's Office of Environmental Health and Safety, provided some additional information relating to ergonomics, the topic of the IU Home Pages' "Workable Workplace" page Jan. 29.
Reilly's office in Bloomington does work station evaluations and recommends improvements, such as new or re-configured equipment to resolve work station problems. The office also can make referrals for additional assistance.
The Bloomington office provides some regulatory compliance and health and safety program assistance to all the regional campuses except IUPUI, which has its own program. For information on the IUPUI ergonomics program, contact John Beltz at jbeltz@iupui.edu.
