Between classes... IUPUI students John LeFord and Melanie Schultz (right) spent the afternoon at the computer screen. Home Pages' photographer Heather Hill recently found the IUPUI students (below) sharing a little time out for cards at the Student Activity Center on the Indianapolis campus. They are (clockwise from upper left) freshman Joey Abuasabeh, senior Samir Kulkarni, freshman Tricia Kluemper, junior Nathan Brook and senior Blenn Deckard. Kulkarni (lower right photo, center) seemed to have the deck stacked against him.

• The IUPUI Cultural Arts Gallery's Herstory: A Women's History Exhibit opens Monday (March 8) with a reception from 3:30-5 p.m. The colorful, contemporary paintings of Sloan Borochoff of Georgia and Mary Nash of Virginia focus on feminine myth and story. The gallery is in Room 115 of the University College Building.

• The Bowen Research Center will host a seminar from noon-1 p.m. March 25 at Fesler, Room 319, IUPUI. Neil B. Oldridge, associate director of the IU Center for Aging Research, will describe the center's structure, mission and goals and will discuss some of the core faculty's present and proposed research projects.
