Scott Sanders and Ray Hedin of the Indiana University Bloomington Department of English will participate in the "Visions of Place" series in Bloomington with presentations open to the public. Hedin will discuss "The Role of Place and Home in Our Stories" at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 13, at the Monroe County Historical Society Museum.
"A Limestone Evening" will be presented by Sanders at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 6, at theWaldron Arts Center Auditorium. Sanders and others will feature Monroe County's limestone culture and pay a tribute to local limestone industry workers. The series is sponsored by the Indiana Humanities Council, IU's community relations program and several other local organizations.
