You might think that locating funding resources for distance learning projects is simply a matter of looking in a book, surfing the Internet, or searching a database under "distance learning." You might also think that writing a proposal is simply a matter of describing your instructional goals and the technologies you'll use to achieve them. In reality, locating funding and presenting a proposal may not be that straightforward, which is why knowing what to look for and how to frame your proposal may make all the difference in whether your distance learning project gets funded.
Join your colleagues for "Pre$enting a Winning Package: Funding for Di$tance Learning," the last program in this spring's Faculty Development Series on Learning Technologies. Presenters will include Marcia Landen and Kerry Slough from Sponsored Research Services at IUB, and Ann Kratz from Sponsored Research Services at IUPUI. The presenters will discuss guidelines for:
"Pre$enting a Winning Package" will be offered over the Virtual Indiana Classroom Network from 10 a.m. to noon Indianapolis time (11 a.m. to 1 p.m. IU Southeast time) on Friday, May 21.
