• The third annual IU/Purdue Blood Donor Challenge begins today (Oct. 22) and runs through Nov 13. Donate a pint and tip the bucket for IU; the school whose fans give the most blood donations will be honored at the Old Oaken Bucket game Nov. 20. A bloodmobile will be at the IMU in Bloomington Nov. 1, 2 and 8, or go to this Web site to find the blood center nearest you:

  NBC sportscaster Dick Enberg (right) used his on-camera signature call "Oh my!" last Thursday (Oct 14) in remarks at the IU School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation in Bloomington following a dedication of a new distance learning studio named in his honor. The new HPER studio combines the architecture of a traditional lecture hall with the capabilities of a television production studio for live, two-way distance learning education programs. • Octubafest begins tonight (Oct. 22) and runs through Monday on the Bloomington campus. The concerts tonight and tomorrow are at 7 p.m. in Ford Hall. The Sunday concert is at 8:30 p.m. in Ford Hall, and the Monday concert is at 8 p.m. in Auer Hall. All concerts are free.

• "Urban Campus: World View" is the title of the third annual Dean's Day, sponsored by the IU School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI, tomorrow (Oct. 23). Call 317-274-8828 for details.
