Lilly Library holdings include an illustration proof of the major characters from the 1900 The Wonderful World of Oz (right photo) by L. Frank Baum's collaborator, William Wallace Denslow. The library also has the original Parker Brothers board game (below) and a copy of the first edition of The Patchwork Girl of Oz, from which a 1914 film version prompted the manufacture of the first toy ever made to promote a film, a doll of Baum's animal character, the Woozy.
