IU Southeast electronics specialist Larry Jackson aimed a surveillance camera just outside his office in Knobview Hall, toward southern Indiana's famous "Knobs." Mostly, he was running a test so that he could keep an eye on construction progress of the Life Sciences Building expansion. Then he got an E-mail from Perugia, Italy, teacher Eliana Baggini who wanted to know if he could move the camera just a tad so she and her class at Lambruschini Elementary School could see more scenery. She had happened on his site by mistake, but now she's using campus pictures, the Web cam and a link to the regional weather report to teach her children about differences in time zones; when it's 10:30 a.m. in Italy, for instance, it's 4:30 a.m. in New Albany.
