Egypt is in Africa

An emphasis on the Egyptian civilization's Africanism is evident in an exhibit running through Feb. 22 at the IU Kokomo Art Gallery in conjunction with IUK's celebration of Black History Month. Five sub Saharan African artifacts, including a Bundu mask from a secret women's society of the Sande (pictured at right) are the accent pieces for walls of photographic murals of the landscape and culture of Egypt.
