During the 1996-97 academic year, IU Southeast welcomed Chancellor F.C. Richardson, the fifth person to lead the campus in its 55-year history, and last week, said farewell to its founder, Floyd I. McMurray, the campus' first director (see obituary).
During his installation address last autumn, Richardson spoke of IU Southeast as still being in its youth as an institution of higher learning, that building on the significant levels of development that had come before, the school under his direction would continue as an "interactive university," one that will "draw everyone into partnership."
Richardson holds office hours, without appointments, each Monday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. Stop in. Join the partnership.
