It's time once again for Mini Medical School, Tuesday evenings, Feb. 18-March 25. Topics include umbilical cord blood transplantation (See Home Pages' story, Nov. 22, 1996), the human lung, epilepsy, genetic diseases, pain control and recovered memories.
Be a "med student" on the IUPUI campus -- without math, chemistry or icky, cut-up frog parts.

If you missed Brian Lanker's "I Dream a World: Portraits of Black Women Who Changed America," which closed yesterday at the IU Kokomo Art Gallery, you can still see one of Lanker's portrait subjects up close and personal on the IPFW campus Feb. 24. Johnetta B. Cole, the first African-American female president of Spelman College, will be the guest lecturer at 7:30 p.m. at the Walb Memorial Union Ballroom. Admission is free.
