Purdue engineers said no way, but IPFW high-tech brains showed them how to hang up Indiana Landscape, a two-ton mural created by fine arts students in 1983. The mural's still intact and so is Neff Hall where it hangs.
Middlefork Hall at IU East is featured in the November 1996 edition of American School and University, an architectural portfolio of outstanding school and university buildings. Middlefork is the newest facility on the Richmond campus.
James Watson, a 1950 IU grad, received the Nobel Prize in 1962. His work was chronicled in the autobiography, The Double Helix: A Personal Account of the Discovery of the Structure of DNA.
