'Internet Tools for On-line Discussions' next Friday

"Internet Tools for On-Line Discussions" is the next topic in the Indiana University School of Continuing Studies' (SCS) Faculty Development Series Friday, Feb. 27, from 10-11:45 a.m., broadcast through the Virtual Indiana Classroom (VIC) Network.

The presentation is planned for those teaching in traditional classroom settings as well as in distance courses.

Web-conferencing software options will be presented by Steve Malikowski, Instructional Systems Technology, who will discuss Conferencing on the Web (COW); Kathryn Probst, UITS, who will discuss Alta Vista Forum; and Ken Smith, English, IU South Bend, who will discuss Ceilidh (pronounced KA-lee).

Moderator of the morning program will be Michael Yoakam, SCS Office of Distance Learning.
