Robert Ferrell, Distinguished Professor emeritus of history at IUB, was
taped for a segment of CBS News' Public Eye With Bryant Gumble at the Lilly Library Feb. 20. Steve Golden (standing) an employee of
Golden Pictures, adjusts the lights, while CBS News field producer Tom
Forman interviews Ferrell concerning the love letters of Harry and Bess
Truman. The segment will air in March on Gumble's news magazine. Ferrell
is the author and editor of 10 books on Truman's life. An exhibit of 1,322
letters that Truman wrote to his wife opened at the Truman Library in
Independence, Mo., earlier this month. |
