Robert Ferrell, Distinguished Professor emeritus of history at IUB, was taped for a segment of CBS News' Public Eye With Bryant Gumble at the Lilly Library Feb. 20. Steve Golden (standing) an employee of Golden Pictures, adjusts the lights, while CBS News field producer Tom Forman interviews Ferrell concerning the love letters of Harry and Bess Truman. The segment will air in March on Gumble's news magazine. Ferrell is the author and editor of 10 books on Truman's life. An exhibit of 1,322 letters that Truman wrote to his wife opened at the Truman Library in Independence, Mo., earlier this month.
