Purdue graduate Ben Sparks (right) and Lee Sparks have been members of IU's Hoosiers for Higher Education for two years. They are pictured at a gathering in Indianapolis Feb. 19 at which HHE members, faculty and staff from thoughout the university met with state legislators. HHE comprises more than 9,000 alumni, students, parents and friends of IU who communicate with elected officials about the importance of higher education to the state. A briefing at the Embassy Suites preceded an afternoon legislative visit at the Statehouse, followed by an all-state university reception in the evening.
