While some IU faculty, staff and students headed to warmer climes for a
spring break, others, including Luke Phenicie, an IUB accounting and
finance major from Tipton, took a working vacation. Phenicie worked
during a Habitat for Humanity "blitz week" building project on
Bloomington's west side. Along with future homeowners investing "sweat
equity," volunteers, including students as well as IU retirees, worked on
three homes. Watch for a special insert on service learning on the IU
campuses in the April 10 issue of Home Pages.
