Internet 2 and IU

Conference to explore developments, resources, access

The Indiana University Office of the Vice President for Information Technology is holding a one-day "Internet2 and IU" conference for participants from all IU campuses Thursday, April 9, at the University Place Conference Center, IUPUI. There is no fee, but registration is required and may be accomplished on line.

New developments and resources provided by Internet2 will be the focus as well as issues regarding access and usage.

IU was one of the founders of Internet2, which now has more than 100 members throughout the country.

Speakers at the conference include some of the leading national policymakers and developers of the vBNS, Internet2 and the Next Generation Internet (NGI).
