Felix Oinas, professor emeritus of Slavic languages and literatures, and of folklore at IUB (above left), received the highest Estonian civil honor, the Order of the State Coat of Arms II class, at a ceremony on the IUB campus last month. The presentation was made by the Estonian ambassador, Kalev Stoicescu (right), on behalf of Estonian President Lennart Meri.
