What's cool -- pick of the week

Try http://php.indiana.edu/~gilbertk/

Private and public deaths, private and public mourning--news of it these past two weeks has sometimes seemed overwhelming. We take you to the Web site of bereavement and grief specialist Kathleen Gilbert, IUB professor of applied health science. Gilbert's Grief in a Family Context class is offered completely over the World Wide Web, and she currently has students enrolled from several states, Northern Ireland, Jamaica and Canada. This site will take you to a number of interesting links, including GriefNet and DeathNet. Gilbert says that the Internet has inspired a new form of memorializing: As space and resources for physical memorials--ornate tombstones and floral displays--diminish, the bereaved are using the Internet to create lasting memorial tributes.
