• It's "Archaelology Week" in Indiana and the Mathers Museum and Black Laboratory of Archaeology are hosting a "discovery day" tomorrow (Sept. 20) afternoon at the museum complex on the IUB campus, 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 20-21). Visitors can tour the excavation of a Native American village that existed 350 to 550 years ago at Hovey Lake, near Mt.Vernon.

• Miss Manners would approve the four-course, mid-day repast planned Oct. 1 at IUPUI's University Place Conference Center. The luncheon, 11:15 2 p.m., is the backdrop for a business etiquette workshop, co-sponsored by University Place and the IUPUI Career Center. The meal and instruction are $18.
