Project management skills series next month on IHETS

A series of seminars to help people enhance project management skills will be sponsored next month by the IU School of Business at IUPUI.

Four seminars focusing on project management will be broadcast from IUPUI to distance learning laboratories at six other IU campuses. Don Hornback, president and chief executive officer of Pathway Technologies Inc., will teach. Mark E. Ippolito, lecturer in operations managment at the school, is the series coordinator.

Broadcast sites will be at IU Bloomington, IU East, IU Northwest, IU South Bend, IU Southeast and IPFW.

The interactive seminars will run from 8:30 a.m.-noon. Session titles and dates:

• Effective Management: Keeping It Glued Together, Nov. 11
  
• Tools, Measures and Benchmarks, Nov. 18
  
• Project Management in a Virtual Team, Nov. 25
