Browser: Happenings around IUA noted theologian and author who served as a mentor to Martin Luther King Jr. will be the keynote speaker for the 27th annual IUPUI King dinner, sponsored by the Black Student Union. Samuel D. Proctor, a professor at Duke University Divinity School and author of The Substance of Things Hoped For, will speak Jan. 20 at The West End. At IPFW, the 10th annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration will include the performance of winning poems, songs and essays about diversity, unity, love, acceptance and community at the IPFW Williams Theatre at noon Jan. 15.
