IUSON receives NIH ‘Quality of Life in Chronic Illness’ grant

 

The IU School of Nursing is one of only nine schools in the country to receive a Center for Enhancing the Quality of Life in Chronic Illness grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Angela McBride, university dean of the school and Distinguished Professor of nursing (center), is flanked by the school’s Vickie Champion (left), the Mary Margaret Professor of nursing and associate dean for research, who will lead the research development and dissemination core of the center. Distinguished Professor of nursing Joan Austin (right) will direct the administrative core. Walter Ambrosius of the IU School of Medicine will lead the biostatistics support for researchers.
