| Don Weaver and John D. (Jack) Mulholland have
each received Indiana University’s highest staff honor, the E. Ross
Bartley Award.
Weaver, who currently serves as director of the IU Office of State Relations, has made a variety of contributions to the IU community that range from his work to advance the university’s interest in state government to his many years of service as a timekeeper for the Little 500 bicycle race. His professional stature was recently recognized by his appointment to the Midwest Commission for Higher Education. Mulholland, who came to IU in 1972 to serve as treasurer, guided the university’s finances through some difficult years. He also lent his time and talents to fund-raising efforts for the Department of Theatre and Drama and served as president of the Theatre Circle. His professional accomplishments include service as president of the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). He is a recent recipient of NACUBO’s most prestigious honor, the Distinguished Business Officer Award. Both men have been active in organizations benefiting the community. |
