Sculptor Dave Bowen's Procession of Ants brings new meaning to the
adventure of spring picnicking to visitors walking near the installation
at IUPUI's University College. The three-and-a-half-foot-long steel ants
reside in their own special green spaces and are visible through glass
walls to people eating lunches, studying and relaxing. Bowen is a 1999
Herron School of Art graduate currently teaching a 3-D class at the
school. On the eve of the 30th anniversary of Earth Day, Home Pages
invites you to commune with nature and listen to the sounds of spring.
